Notte Bella
Formed in 2008 in Covina CA, Notte Bella’s post
hard-hardcore sound is what has gotten them high recognition throughout LA. The
group recorded their first demo at the end of 2008 and passed it out at shows
at local venues. They quickly became well known in LA and now have a dedicated
fan base. A year later, Notte Bella found themselves playing full time throughout
Southern California. At the beginning of 2010 they recorded their first album
titled "The Bishop". Drummer Justin Garza explained,
“We were so pumped about the release of "The Bishop" because it was sold in Best Buys throughout So. Cal..”
Notte Bella released music videos
for songs "For Our Dead" and "Between Dreaming and Drowning".
The band has continued playing shows full time and is working on their newest
EP, "Follow Me". The EP is being produced and engineered by Kris
Comeaux, who has worked with the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and A Static Lullaby.
"Follow Me" is due to be released digitally in summer 2012. However, the band experienced a lineup change earlier this year. Vocalist Bobby Horack commented
saying,
“Arek Alvarez was brought in to
play guitar after Joey made a decision to leave So. Cal. for college.”
However, these changes aren’t
standing in their way. The band will continue playing with a full schedule for
the next six months. Notte Bella has shared the stage with bands such as Escape
the Fate, No Bragging Rights, I Am Ghost, Modern Day Escape, I Omega, Bullets
and Octane, DGAF, A Static Lullaby, and Story of the Year.
